SailPass is operated by ConnectED Global Education Associates, a corporation registered in British Columbia, Canada. We are subject to the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
If you have questions or concerns about this policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at:

When you forward a booking confirmation to your SailPass address, the complete email — including headers, body, and metadata — is received and temporarily stored by Postmark, our email delivery partner. Postmark retains inbound email content and metadata for 45 days, after which it is automatically deleted. Attachments are not stored or accessible. SailPass stores only the structured ticket data parsed from your emails, not the raw email content itself.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating SailPass.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate SailPass:
Each of these providers processes your data only as required to deliver their service to us, and is bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@sailpass.app with the subject line "Privacy Policy Inquiry." We will respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
SailPass is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
SailPass uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies. We do not use browser local storage for personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of SailPass after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

SailPass is a mobile-first web application that aggregates travel booking confirmations for coastal British Columbia commuters. By forwarding booking confirmation emails from supported carriers to your unique SailPass forwarding address, SailPass parses and displays your tickets in a single organized view.
Supported carriers at launch include BC Ferries, Hullo, Harbour Air, Helijet, and Seair Seaplanes. Carrier support may change over time.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use SailPass. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent purposes.
New accounts receive a free trial that includes your first 5 ticket forwards at no charge. No credit card is required to start your free trial.
After your free trial is exhausted, continued use of SailPass requires a paid subscription. Current pricing is displayed at sailpass.app. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
Subscriptions are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan (monthly or annual).
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the SailPass settings panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain full access until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
Promotional codes are offered at our discretion and are subject to their stated terms. Promo codes have no cash value and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
You agree not to:
By forwarding booking confirmation emails to your SailPass address, you grant us permission to process the content of those emails solely for the purpose of parsing and displaying your ticket information. We do not use the content of your emails for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to forward emails to SailPass. We are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in the source booking emails.
We strive to keep SailPass available and accurate, but we do not guarantee:
SailPass is a convenience tool. Always verify your travel bookings directly with your carrier, especially for time-sensitive travel.
SailPass, including its software, design, and content, is owned by ConnectED Global Education Associates. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of your personal data. By using SailPass, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service.
SailPass is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConnectED Global Education Associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use SailPass, including but not limited to missed travel, booking errors, or data loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of SailPass shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
If you have a concern or dispute regarding SailPass, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally:
